HISTORY; Jared was born on an Air Force base in Arahal about eight months after his parents were married. His father moved young Jared and his wife, Isabella, around quite a bit before settling in Cresting Grove when Jared was in fifth grade. It was then that he met Ashleigh Salvadori, his later best friend and confidante. During senior year, he discovered that his father wasn’t actually his father, and for several days immediately after, he was very taciturn and irritable, going so far as to getting into an argument with Ashleigh about how sick he was that everyone believed that they were a couple. Jared stopped talking to her, which was a move he would later regret. Too caught up in his own problems, he didn’t even realize when Ashleigh didn’t come to school for several days because of her mother’s death. When he did find out, he immediately went to her, but their friendship has been badly damaged by it. Jared spent last fall and summer studying abroad in Spain, mostly looking for information about his father. To date, he still hasn’t told anyone about him.
