Hope needs a core group of friends. It would be nice to start off with a Best Guy Friend. She's a guys girl and dislikes the drama of sometimes being friends with girls. This person, preferably, can be someone who she knew in high school and stayed very close to through college. LIke the type of friends that spend holidays together and have a real understanding of each other. Any other close friends and aquantinces are good too. If she thinks your cool to hang around then she'll be your friend. She's a chill person who loves writing, photography, painting, psychology, reading. If your character likes any of those things then that can be a starting point.

L O V E R S
Hope can be one night stand kind of girl but she really craves relationships. She isn't the type of girl to purposefully go out and look for love. If there is a connection then Hope doesn't try and hide it. She's not aggresive but she won't hold back her feelings. She doesn't like the idea of getting close to someone only to have them leave: who does? So if she is into you then she truly believes that you're a good person to be with. She's a flirtacous person but often times doesn't try to be. She works at the bookstore so if you're in their often she might take notice. Flirts would be good, Crushes, Physical Attraction, and anything else you can think of. For a Final, I have that all set but there is a lot of open space for short term relationships.

As for enemies Hope will have her fair share. While she doesn't go out looking for a fight she voices her opinion which might make people angry. Hope will stand up for herself and others against anyone and that also makes people angry. She doesn't get angry very easily but she likes to stop situations from escalating so she'll spit fire at you if that's the case. Any enemies would be great,rivalsin college, andannoyances. She will be job hunting soon for a job with a local newspaper for something different but that could be a time for some competition.

Given the age difference, i was hard pressed to figure something out for these two but given the two of them both have a troubled family past and Tyson is quite keen on playing the guitar in his spare time, they could bond over that? Tyson would most likely be on the book store a lot looking for text books amongst other things that could help him in his course at college. /plot fail - any ideas?

that sounds great! maybe to add some spice; hope has a thing for people with accents. maybe that alone will spark her interest and then as they get to talking she's just like, 'yeah...i gotta make out with this guy at least once.' age really isnt a thing to her unless its a really wide gap. thats an idea but if you want to start a thread that would be great!

Lena's mother also owns a bookstore in Cresting Grove, so maybe Hope and Lena's mother are kinda enemies/competitors and Lena is just caught in the crossfire.

Maybe Nikkos and Hope could be friends. You did mention a best guy friend I was thinking that maybe he was her first friend when she moved to Cresting Grove. His family is pretty close and stable, so perhaps she found stability in him too. He moved away from Cresting Grove at 19 to study medicine in California, which I assume is about when Hope left to go to college in New York. I think they would have kept touch and stuff, and now that they're both back in Cresting Grove, they could reconnect even...more?

Also, as soon as I wrote this, I realized that I posted here on Lena (Nikkos' sister), saying that Hope and Lena should maybe sorta be enemies because Lena's (and thus Nikkos') parents own a competing bookstore in town.

But I didn't want to delete all that. So. XD What do you think?

so Sophie is new and im trying to get her out there and ideas. She is a homeless drunk and perhaps she tries to sleep or intrude upon the bookstore? Maybe the back alley or basement(if there is one)). I guess this would make them enemies, but i dont see her having too many friends anyway. Crazy drunk. Ideas?

yessss i love that. so i completely stalked his application & saw that he wants to start up a practice in Cresting Grove which is something she would be totally behind him in. she would just rip on him for having a house and a fiance but also look to him for again stability that shes feeling pretty down about everything that's going on with her grandmother/not really feeling like shes living up to expectations. blah blah blah. basically they can vent to each other because hope is a very very good listener but also can tell him the truth straight up. we should deff. omg bridesmaids is totally my movie. i love kristen wiigs character in it. but on to the plot. she would probably hate sophie because she would remind her so much of her mother. she would just dislike the fact that sophie is looking for handouts which in this world will end up running out. although, i think eventually hope would feel like to close wounds and offer her a job. it would be funny if hope would still be really angry at her when sophie does stupid shit. i like itttt. we should RP soon!
