These two haven't seen eye to eye since high school, and have a serious disliking to one another. Ash is the strong and silent, overprotective type, and his occupation/ anything I didn't mention above is up to you. Kat and Ash's history can be found detailed here in Kats history (I'd suggest reading if your thinking of taking this character :3). They're always fighting, but still love each other. Its just hard to tell because whenever they run into each other the first thing they start to do is shout and flail there arms at each other

Derek - 27 - love plot - cop - matthew mcconaughey
Katherine is a bit into drugs, and although she isn't obsessed with them (yet) she is still a druggie. I was thinking that in one of those few, rare events she does decide to involve herself in some that Derek catches her (but lets her go)and thats how they meet. Then, after doing a bust at the strip joint she used to work at, he starts to find out more about her. They run into each other again at the bar she works at, but instead of being in his usual cop mode they actually talk, and Kat realizes that hes pretty cool. Sure he can be hot headed, and used to be known as a player throughout most of his young life, but has changed some. He is patient with Kats bluntness, which is quite surprising to Katherine since not many people are, and the two get along well. However, they do get into arguments, and whether or not they are finals is undecided. Most of his personality is up to you :3
