Dexter is a twenty one year old college student studying theater and music. He is a gay student living that is half in/half out of the closet. He lives with his traditional grandparents who have no idea of his lifestyle. If anyone asks him though, he will not deny it, nor will he pretend to be straight. Currently for money, Dexter performs with his guitar on the street, hoping for an opportunity to play somewhere soon. He spends most of his time practicing piano/guitar/drums and trying to learn lines/parts. He dreams of becoming a Broadway star, or starting a musical theater company.

So Tamera is gay too but she's kinda shy. Even if they were to bond over being freely expressive about their sexuality (to some extent), it might not be enough to get them to be good friends. Dexter s musical talents just might since Tami's a creative soul too, even if it is with photography. Maybe they can joke about tami taking photos for his album cover or whenever he needs PR shots of him?

They're both in college but studying different subjects but they could be casual acquaintances to some extent? Tyson plays the guitar casually so they could have some jam sessions. Dexter would easily outshine Tai though!
