BRIEF HISTORY;
Dexter Maroni was born into a typical family, his mother a writer for the Chicago Tribune, his father a Police Officer for the Chicago Police. He spent the first sixteen years of his life one of the happiest and most loved child, he was given every opportunity he ever asked for. His parents made sure that he took acting classes, got involved in the local theater groups, and took music lessons. He excelled in piano, guitar, and harmonica. Shortly after his sixteenth birthday, Dexter’s father was killed in a drug bust gone wrong. Unable to cope with the pain, his mother committed suicide. Custody of Dexter was given to his grandparents, Martha and Joe Maroni, who lives in Cresting Grove, NC. Falling in love with the small town atmosphere, Dexter, now twenty one, has been enrolled at the local college, and is still living with grandparents. One of these days he hopes to make enough money to leave, go to New York, and hopefully star on Broadway.
