Running her hand through her blondish waves Nora tilted her head at their new home, a smile instantly covered her somewhat paleface. Her eyes studied the house intently, everything from the different color grays that the house was painted to the door and window frames. It was much different then her beach house back in San Diego, much different. But this place, to Nora, had a much more of a comfortable and happy setting, feeling. To add to it, she was moving into it with the love of her life. Nikkos.
Nikkos. The best memory from when she was working as a waitress had to be meeting Nikkos. A funny story to be honest, though she's far from clumsy, she fell and dropped most of his meal and beverage onto his lap. Causing not only a mess all over his, most likely, expensive suit, but also completely embarrassing herself. Probably even him. He was far from cold to her though as she tried hard to clean up what mess she could off of him and saying sorry repeatedly. Something like a movies plot, it all kinda went on from there.
Nora's eyes moved from the house up to her soon to be husband, her smile growing bigger. "I love it!" She pressed her lips together, her smile now closed but still as big, she stood on the tips of her toes so she could wrap her arms around his neck and hug him tightly.
They had just gotten to town, and the moving truck had followed up behind them pretty quickly. Watching them pull into the available spot in front of their house, Nora's arms loosened from around his neck and tucked some hair behind her ear. "The stuff is here!" She smiled and walked towards it, watching as they jumped out the front seat and opened up the back.

Nikkos watched as Nora excitedly opened the door to their bright yellow Chevy Camaro, following her in suit more slowly. Since Nikkos had lived most of his life in Cresting Grove, Nora had trusted him with picking out their new home. It was a task that he had undertaken with a lot of trepidation, wanting the place he choose to be a place they loved. It would be the first home that Nikkos had owned; up until this point, he had been living in apartments since moving out of his parents' home several years ago. So while it marked a very important milestone for him too, it was more important to Nikkos that his fiancee liked the new home. He closed the door behind him and walked up beside Nora, watching her face, slightly nervous. The grin that her lips broke into was contagious, and he returned his fiancee's embrace with a smile as wide as hers. "I'm glad you like it, baby," he replied warmly. When she loosened her arms from his neck and pulled away, Nikkos couldn't help but admire Nora. He still couldn't believe that she had said yes when he asked her to marry him, and he felt like the luckiest man alive. Nora was so beautiful, but even her outside appearance couldn't begin to describe her personality. She had a heart of gold. His smile faded slightly as he remembered the only other girl he had ever loved so fully as he did Nora. Nikkos refused to allow her name to come to the surface of his mind, but he still couldn't help but wonder if she still lived in Cresting Grove. Shaking away those thoughts, he turned and walked towards the front door, unlocking it and propping it open with a nearby pot. The inside of the house was mostly empty, but the thought of all the possibilities this home brought them made him giddy with happiness. On a whim, he quickly walked over to Nora, "The door is open!" he called to the people in the moving van then promptly swept Nora off her feet and carried her across the courtyard and through the front door. He set her down over the threshold, grinning, and said, "Sorry. I couldn't resist. I wanted to show you the house."

Nora took a quick glance into the back of the truck, only to make sure that everything was there and she hadn't forgotten anything. It wasn't that long until she felt Nikkos's hands around her, picking her up off her feet and carrying her. A gasp left her lips and she smiled, giggling like a little girl as she wrapped her arm around his shoulder and placed her other hand on his chest. Nora leaned in to place a small peck on his cheek while her thumb rubbed a small part of his chest gently.
Nora hadn't been in very many relationships before Nikkos. Well she had only been in one, which was a complete mess, being that her mother had set her up with the guy. They were the complete opposite. He was arrogant and obnoxious, while she was timid and sweet. They lasted for about a week before she gave it up, not too sure why she even said yes to him in the first place. Being with Nikkos though, someone she felt so comfortable and happy with, was completely new to her. She hadn't honestly felt anything like it. It only made sense to say yes when he asked her to marry him.
"Sorry. I couldn't resist. I wanted to show you the house."
A smile kept on her lips as he set her down and she glanced around the house. "So, I'm getting the grand tour?" Nora laughed a little before reaching for Nikkos's hand gently, interwinding their fingers. She gave his hand a tight squeeze before pulling him gently so they could see the house.

Nikkos smiled at his fiancee as their hands intertwined. "Indeed, you are! I could give you the grand tour of something else later, too," he added the last part with a suggestive wink before eagerly leading her through the house like a child. He first led her to the right and pointed to the living room, "Look at that. It's got a beautiful fireplace, and it's nice and big and open," he said, remembering their apartment in San Diego. It was very small, and they hardly had room to put a small couch in the living room. Nikkos was not a fan of small spaces by any means. He then gestured to the adjoining kitchen, "And here is where I can impress you with my fabulous cooking without burning anything down!"
He chuckled, remembering how on one of their first dates, he had been cooking pasta and had nearly caught his apartment on fire. Nikkos was a fairly good cook, but the apartment he had been living in at the time wasn't that nice. When Nora and Nikkos decided to live together, they moved to a nicer apartment, but it hadn't been much bigger. Nikkos quickly pointed out the small room that he planned to make his office, then pulled her into the large master suite. When Nikkos had flown out here a week before, he had spent all day painting this room a pale blue grey, the color of the sky just before the sun rose over the horizon. It was Nora's favorite color.
"This is our room," Nikkos said, letting go of her hand, not wanting to drag her from room to room anymore. He peeked his head into the master bathroom, then leaned in its doorway, his arms crossed lightly across his chest, "And now, if you spend too much time in the bathtub, I have the option to just join it," he told her, chuckling, as he pointed to the large whirlpool tub in the corner.

"Indeed, you are! I could give you the grand tour of something else later, too,"
A smirk played on her lips and she laughed. Nora followed after him, smiling as they passed the rooms. Their new house was defiantly much more spacious then their previous home, well apartment. It was often cramped and uncomfortable, especially since they both owned their fair share of stuff that needed to be in the house. As the stepped into the kitchen, Nora felt a wave of relief run over her. The kitchen in their apartment in San Diego was much much more smaller and was usually hard for the both of them to work in.
"And here is where I can impress you with my fabulous cooking without burning anything down!"
Nora laughed and used her free hand to rest on her forehead. She shook her head and remembered the last incident Nikkos had. "Oh no, that was all bad." Even though he had his moments in the kitchen, he was mostly a really great cook. Something Nora was completely thankful for, being that she was probably the worst cook ever. There had been more then one time that she had caught something on fire, or didn't check the oven before preheating it. Silly things, but Nora always had bad luck in the kitchen.
Walking into the master bedroom, Nora bit down on her bottom lip. "Oh Nikkos." She let out a laugh, her favorite color was plastered along the walls. In their last apartment the color of their bedroom was always something she would complain about while they laid in bed. As they freed their hands she walked into the bathroom and towards the counter.
"And now, if you spend too much time in the bathtub, I have the option to just join it,"
Nora glanced back at Nikkos and teasingly shook her ass, before stepping towards the, much more, bigger bathtub. "This tub is perfect." She smiled and sat on the corner of the tub. Nora ran her fingers through her hair and glanced up at Nikkos. "This is all really great babe." She smiled and tilted her head and a small grin played on her lips.

Nikkos grinned as she playfully shook her read end his direction, the whites of his teeth showing as he laughed. His look softened as he studied Nora again. The cold outside had put a rosy tinge in her cheeks, complimenting her beautiful golden hair and bringing out her piercing baby blue eyes. He knew that Nora could be insecure about how she looked, but he couldn't honestly understand why anyone who looked like she did ever could. Nora looked gorgeous without a bit of makeup on, even in the morning when she first woke up.
A rush of affection filled Nikkos, "You know what I think's pretty great?" he asked her in a murmer, walking to sit beside her on the tub and and taking her soft, delicate face in his callused hands. Nikkos looked in her eyes, hers as light as his were dark, and kissed her softly. Her lips were so soft and smooth and warm, and he felt like he could just sit there on the edge of that tub, his hand cupping her face, and kiss her forever.
"Where d'ya want this?" called a voice from the front door. With not a little bit of regret, Nikkos pulled away and chuckled, "We should probably go tell them where to put stuff," he said.

"You know what I think's pretty great?"
Nora smiled watched him as he sat down next to her. "Hmm." Before she could answer his question she met her lips with his, her eyes fluttering close. She placed her hand gently on top of his as she moved her lips along with his. She never could described the feeling she got when they kissed, the way their lips moved together, how his lips seemed to fit perfectly with hers. Her thoughts would always fly away, so lost in their kiss, she didn't realise that one of the movers had came in. Feeling Nikkos's lips part from hers she snapped back to reality and her eyes opened.she smiled small, feeling her cheeks flush a bright red and stood. Nodding her head, Nora smiled. "Good idea."
Nora licked her lips and glanced back to Nikkos, grabbing his hand gently before walking out of the bathroom. Her free hand tucked her hair behind her ear and she glanced up at Nikkos. "think we can get everything in, at least, today?" she thought over the other plans, her finding a job, checking if all her classes got switched over and such. She just wanted to make sure everything got done.

Nikkos followed his fiancee out of the bathroom and back towards the front door, holding her hand gently. At her inquiry, he frowned thoughtfully and nodded, "I'm sure we can get it all done today, love," Nikkos replied encouragingly. One of the moving people asked Nikkos where the boxes marked "bedroom" went, and he explained that the boxes marked "bedroom" in blue went to the master bedroom, while the boxes marked "bedroom" in red went into the smaller bedroom near the front door.
After taking care of that business, he turned back to Nora, "You know, I can most likely take care of directing them where to put everything if you want to go into town and take care of your errands. I know you must have a lot to do."

"You know, I can most likely take care of directing them where to put everything if you want to go into town and take care of your errands. I know you must have a lot to do."
Nora shook her head before turning to face him. She smiled and smoothed out his shirt a bit and wrapped her arms around his neck. "It's all fine. I probably wouldn't get much done today anyways. And tomorrow's a new day." She nodded her head once again before reaching up to peck his lips. Nora had always been the one to worry, all the time. She told herself though, that when they moved over here she wouldn't worry as much, give Nikkos a bit of a break.
Pulling back when she saw a mover pass by she shook her head lightly and smiled politely. "Oh, that box of books will be in our room actually." She gave the man a somewhat apologetic smile. Seeing as they had already gotten to that box she figured they didn't have too much left. Nora turned back to Nikkos and pressed her lips together while in a thought. "We most likely wont be able to make anything here at home. So want to go out to dinner tonight?"

They directed the movers around their home for about an half hour, showing them where to place their furniture and boxes and often contradicting each other. Still, it wasn't long before most, if not all, of their things were unpacked. Well, partially unpacked. The boxes were still, for the most part, closed, but now at least they were in their proper room. He had pulled his sleeves up to his elbows in the process as he helped the two movers place the boxes and furniture. Finally, they were done. After paying them and tipping them generously, he closed the door.
"We most likely wont be able to make anything here at home. So want to go out to dinner tonight?"
At her suggestion, Nikkos quickly became nervous, though he laughed outwardly. Go out to eat? The thought made him slightly uncomfortable for one of two reasons; first of all, he hadn't told his family he was engaged yet. Secondly, he was afraid to run into... 'No, stop thinking about her. You live here now. If she still does, you're going to run into her sooner or later anyway,' he thought to himself harshly. Still, for a split second, all the pain from those years ago weighed down his heart. However, Nikkos only had to look up into the eyes of his beautiful fiancee for that feeling to be dashed away. 'She is my future now,' he told himself, smiling at her. Something still nagged at the back of his mind, but he ignored it.
"Well, actually, I was wondering if you'd like to have dinner with my parents," Nikkos ventured, slightly unsure of Nora's reaction. His parents had never met Nora, though Nikkos had told them a little bit about her. Nora knew that his parents didn't know they were engaged yet, "I figure, maybe it's time we tell them we're engaged."

Nora smiled small as he thought for a second. She studied his face for a moment. His prominent jaw and his soft round lips she loved so much. She placed her hand softly on his cheek, rubbing it gently while he spoke out his reply.
"Well, actually, I was wondering if you'd like to have dinner with my parents,"
Nikkos's parents had yet to find out about his soon to be wife, and Nora couldn't help but be frightened of what they would think about her and if they'd like her or not. Nora glanced down at her outfit and frowned. "well help me find something decent to wear!" She could feel the nerves kicking in and she hurried to their room and glanced at the different boxes and their labels.

Nikkos couldn't help but chuckle as Nora scampered off into their bedroom to search for something to wear. He thought about saying that she looked fine in what she was wearing right now, but he knew that Nora would probably feel better about herself if she could change into something else. He followed her into the bedroom and placed a warm hand on her shoulder, "How about I find some of your stuff and let it air out while you go take a shower? It's only four in the afternoon, and my family tends to eat late."
He smiled at Nora and gestured to a smaller box by the bathroom floor, "I put the shower curtain and bathroom carpets in there when I was here last, so all you'd have to do would be to grab your shampoo and other nice smelling products from that there box."

"How about I find some of your stuff and let it air out while you go take a shower? It's only four in the afternoon, and my family tends to eat late."
Tilting her head to the side, Nora though for a second and leaned against the door. She nodded her head and tapped her lips with her index finger. "Perfect. Remember that black dress? That goes to my knees? Get that one please." She smiled and nodded her head, to her her small black dress had always made her look curvy and simple, and she felt it would be perfect for dinner with his parents.
"I put the shower curtain and bathroom carpets in there when I was here last, so all you'd have to do would be to grab your shampoo and other nice smelling products from that there box."
Nora's smile grew bigger and she nodded. She gave a quick peck onto Nikkos's cheek and grabbed the shampoo from the box before going to the bathroom. She started the shower, setting it to the perfect temperature before stripping down and taking a quick shower.
Wrapping her towel around her body, Nora ran her fingers through her wet hair and walked towards the bathroom door, calling out. "Did you find it?" She licked her lips and tucked her wet hair behind her ear before walking towards the box of items, pulling out the q-tips.

"Perfect. Remember that black dress? That goes to my knees? Get that one please."
Nikkos saluted Nora with a grin as he watched her go into the bathroom. Once she disappeared and he could hear the sound of running water, he turned to the various boxes with his hands on his hips. "Now which box are you in, little black dress....," he murmured to himself with a chuckle. Surprisingly, Nikkos only had to go through two of Nora's clothing boxes before he found the dress she had specified. He took it out of the box and shook it out, appraising it with a careful eye. The material it was made of didn't seem to wrinkle easily, as he couldn't see a wrinkle on it.
He carefully laid it out and opened another box that contained his fiancee's shoes. A frown appeared as his lips as he tried to decide which shoes she would want with the dress; in the end, he decided she would probably end up choosing a totally different pair than the one he picked out, so he figured he would leave it up to her. The sound of water had just cut off when Nikkos located Nora's box full of hair supplies and makeup. He picked it up and carried it into the bathroom, setting it on the counter, and turned to her, "Yup! It wasn't too hard to find. You packed it near the top of one of the boxes."
Nikkos walked out of the bathroom and back into the bedroom, though he could still feel the steam from Nora's shower from the open bathroom door.
