01. after you register, please change your display name to your character's whole name in CAPS. yes, big letters so we can see them. also, it looks nice.
02. once your application is accepted, the required claims are the play-by, the birthday, and the who's who. we won't make a big deal out of the birthday but we will about the play-by. it doesn't matter if you say that taylor swift is your play-by on your application. if you don't claim her and someone else does, then they get taylor swift. no arguments.
03. our character limit is ten, but please keep all of them active. we understand if you have no muse for a character, but please. for the sake of keeping statistics semi-even, for every two females, we ask you to make a male.
04. no, we don't have a word count. however, if you write a one-liner, we are going to give you a sad face. don't expect people to rp with you if you only write one sentence posts.
05. applications should be finished within three-four days. if they are not able to be done within then, please message an administrator.
06. if you will be gone for more than a week, please post in the absences in case we have a surprise activity check. however, if it was an unexpected absence and you had no way to tell us, we will make exceptions.
07. we will be having activity checks every month. no, we will not delete accounts the first time, we will just deem them inactive and take away your character. however, if you were deemed inactive the first time and the second time, your account will be deleted.
08. no god-modding. that is bad. if we get a complaint about it, we will be very disappointed and warn you. if we get a second complaint, you will be banned for a certain about of time.
09. no mary-sues or gary-sues or whatever they're called. no one is perfect. however, don't make your characters all miserable all the time. we don't want this a gloomy town.
10. if your thread gets too hott and steamy, please change the title to MATURE so people don't happen to stumble upon it and be freaked out.
11. if you want your character to get pregnant or die, please message an administrator and claim your pregnancy/birth in the pregnancy claim.
12. please, no murderers. that kind of goes along with the god-modding. unless it's been okay-ed by an administrator and other characters, then you can.
13. avatars are great and can be as big as 150x200. however, that is a little big so we like to default it at 100x150. signatures need to be no larger than 500x300.
14. advertise only in the correct boards! in the c-box, if you would like to link your site to your name, you may but do not tell people to click it.
15. please respect one another, that's common courtesy.
