Levi sat down at his computer chair and opened his laptop. After checking his email and browsed the web for about half an hour, he sighed, bored. A sudden idea popped into his head. Instant messaging! With a cheerful grin, he decided to open a random chat.

Veronica wasn't the type of girl to just get online and talk to people she didn't know, though today she was feeling somewhat whimsical. So, on that note, she sat in her black spinning computer chair and turned on her laptop at her desk. She typed in her password and opened up the random chat. Biting her lip, feeling a bit anxious she read the first IM. It was from levi1863, which didn't scream pedophile or stalker to her, so she replied.

ronnie.love says: i'm doing quite fine, thank you. how about yourself?

Levi turned to look out the window. The sky was cloudy, and he expected it was probably fairly cold. Not that the cold had ever bothered Levi at all in the past...

levi1863 says: I'm just dandy! I'm enjoying the weather outside. how about you?

ronnie.love says: the weather? but it's freezing outside, i can't stand the cold, haha, which is why i'm sitting inside my cozy room.(:

Veronica smiled, then shook her head. Oh no, what if he was a crazy stalker? She was just volunteering information to him, what would be next her address?! It took a moment, but then Veronica realized she was being ridiculous. She is seventeen, and should start acting like it. She decided she wouldn't care and just talk with this unknown man.

levi1863 says: my parents and siblings think that it's pretty cold here, but I've always been kinda immune to it, I suppose. is it snowing?

After reading his reply, Veronica looked out her window and shook her head. It was snowing softly, but she could tell it would stop soon. She placed her hands over the keyboard and replied.

ronnie.love says: just barely, but i believe it will stop in a few minutes(: i do have to admit, the snow is a nice perk to the cold; it's just so pretty!(:
